It covers stuff from several cooperative repositories. Dag, Axel, and Matthias Saou (Mr. freshrpms himself) are all very active on it. The Fedora Multimedia Installation HOWTO by Eric Raymond is worth a look: http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Fedora-Multimedia-Installation-HOWTO/index.html. See caveats in recent ESR threads on this list. Watch out for atrpms dependency problems if you include that one. Axel Thimm has a lot of good stuff, but seems to have something of a "my way or the highway" attitude about dependencies. In my experience fedora.us, stable, and livna do not play nicely with the "freshrpms group", or vice versa. Be careful what you throw into the mix. "Too many (rpm) cooks spoil the (Fedora) broth." (Then of course, there are the apt-only repositories like planetccrma.)
