Hello.

Yeah, I\'ve got this happening, and I think it\'s something to do with cron or similar.

Mine is not related to mounts,

I am just about to install FC on a couple of P4 HT servers.. looks like I am going to have to stick with the UP kernel until this gets sorted out.. if it ever does, its seems like its been going on for quite some time now and with FC2 on the way I doubt it will be a high priority..

I would not recommend a fedora kernel on an SMP XEON system. I'm not sure about
SMP on a P4 with hyperthread enabled. The boxes I have tried have all been supermicro
dual XEON with and without hyperthread enabled. They worked well with NFS
mounts ot a remote server until I started mounting a remote samba share from them. I have
tried multiple Fedora kernels and the only ones that don't crash are UP kernels. I am
now using RH Enterprise on my test machines, not Fedora due to this issue.

I hope they do get a stable kernel as this looks really bad for Fedora since this has
been an open issue for so long (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=109497)

Cheers,
