This package holds /usr/src/linux-x.x.x/ - the kernel sources patched
with all patches redhat included in the .src.rpm package. You can use this
to compile your custom kernel (ex: you want something they disabled or do
not want something they enabled). You will also need it to compile some
packages...

In general - only kernel-2.4.22-1.2149.nptl.i686.rpm - i686 kernel. If you
have AMD Athlon/Duron - it will work, but you'll prefer the .athlon.rpm version.
If you have SMP machine - you'll need smp version of the kernel. You can even
use the i386 version, but it will be slower and with less modules(not sure) on
i686/athlon machine. Better do 'yum upgrade' ;)
