I like apt because it supports wildcards (*). So, if I want to do an upgrade to a range of packages I can do 'apt-get upgrade redhat-*' for example. I use the Dag apt repository, which tracks all the stock stuff, plus a pile of extras - pretty much anything you'd want to add on top of a stock redhat/fedora distribution. All I have to do to keep everything up to date is apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade. Nothing could be simpler. http://dag.wieers.com/packages/apt/ -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
