Hi,

If you have installed FC1 already you can boot from the diskette, and then in 
the command line, as root, type

#grub-install /dev/hda

or

#lilo -v

depending on wich one you choose. Of course the configuration files, namely 
grub.conf or lilo.conf should be present. One of these should be present if 
you have installed FC1 and could boot into it.
