Hi,
Don't know if it works has I've not tryed it. I think grub renames the
partitions, so hda in grub is labeled as hd0. So try with hd0 as the
parameter.

Hi,
running the command
grub-install /dev/hda
fails and prints an error message
/dev/hda does not have any corresponding BIOS ...
Does anyone know what is wrong?
Thanks,
Ivo
Try /dev/hda1 (your hard disk has at least two partitions and you need
to tell the program in which one you want to install it)
