Yeah, that looks exactly like mine. What i did first actually was a simple TwinView clone setup as described in the NVidia readme, then i switched to the fancy multiple X screens setup.
I doubt it's the s-video -> RCA adapter, since it works in windows for you.
Ummm.. Make sure the TV is plugged in when you boot up?
