I'm trying to install Fedora Core 1 onto my computer, whjich happends to have only SATA hard drives. Booting from CD-ROM wont do anything has it cant locate the controler for some reason...

Does any1 have a clue on how to get this to work? i wouldnt care about booting from floppy, or burning a new cd image with the updates kernel files or whatever... ( i'm kinda new to linux so i'm just giving ideas here...)

Does the updates kernels will work?
