Simple, they will release it for RHEL. That was part of the reason for creating RHEL, to provide third-parties with a long-life stable platform to support. Would you rather have to check your product every 6 months for compatibility, or every 2 years? And if it doesn't work, would you rather have 2-3 months to make it work (because the base is going unsupported) or 3 years? -- William Hooper
