Hello list; I have an "everything" install of FC1, and run KDE. I have googled and searched freshmeat for the answer to no effect. I have an older USB camera given away free by earthlink. It works ok under W98se. The model is Xirlink DSCPRO ksx-x9905 It is not detected at all when plugged in and powered up. [mick@athlon mick]$ cat /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug /sbin/hotplug I tried running '/sbin/hotplug usb' - no help.
