how do i configure talk daemon to run?
root@xxxxx# service talk start
Or if you want it to run when you boot up the machine go into
redhat-config-services and check 'talk'
Also the tty (terminal) permissions need to permit talk. See the
command "mesg" as in "mesg y" or "mesg n".
The daemon needs to be running, firewall permissions must permit
connections to the talk port and then permissions to the terminal need
to be opened up. i.e. ...Three things....
From the talk man page (man talk) read about these related programs.
