redhat-config-packages-1.9.1.1.noarch blocks up2date, as does libmrproject and a lack of anaconda-images-0-9.0.94-2.noarch.hdr blocks yum before it even gets to libmrproject. this all from the: http://download.fedora.us/fedora/redhat/0.95/i386/yum/os repository. Unfortunately this means it's impossible for me to install anything that needs libraries from the base OS ( e.g. mplayer ) Any ideas? --- Duncan Morison <duncan_morison@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > as can be seen by: > > [root@severn duncan]# yum install mplayer > Gathering header information file(s) from server(s) > Server: Base > Server: Fedora OS > Server: Fedora Stable > Server: Fedora Testing > Server: Fedora extras > Server: Fedora extras testing > Server: Fedora extras unstable > Finding updated packages > Downloading needed headers > getting > /var/cache/yum/fedora-os/headers/libmrproject-0-0.10pre-4.i386.hdr > retrygrab() failed for: > > http://download.fedora.us/fedora/redhat/0.95/i386/yum/os/headers/libmrproject-0-0.10pre-4.i386.hdr > Executing failover method > failover: out of servers to try > Error getting file > http://download.fedora.us/fedora/redhat/0.95/i386/yum/os/headers/libmrproject-0-0.10pre-4.i386.hdr > [Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found > > a manual check shows that the one in the repository > is: > libmrproject-0.10-3.i386.rpm > > any immediate work arounds, or do I need to be > patient > and wait for the repository to be fixed. > > as a side note current yum.conf is: > [main] > cachedir=/var/cache/yum > debuglevel=2 > logfile=/var/log/yum.log > pkgpolicy=newest > distroverpkg=redhat-release > tolerant=1 > exactarch=1 > > [base] > name=Base > baseurl=http://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/rawhide > > [stable] > name=Fedora extras > baseurl=http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/0.95/i386/yum/stable > > [testing] > name=Fedora extras testing > baseurl=http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/0.95/i386/yum/testing > > [unstable] > name=Fedora extras unstable > baseurl=http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/0.95/i386/yum/unstable > > [fedora-os] > name=Fedora OS > baseurl=http://download.fedora.us/fedora/redhat/0.95/i386/yum/os > > [fedora-stable] > name=Fedora Stable > baseurl=http://download.fedora.us/fedora/redhat/0.95/i386/yum/testing > > [fedora-testing] > name=Fedora Testing > baseurl=http://download.fedora.us/fedora/redhat/0.95/i386/yum/testing > > ________________________________________________________________________ > Want to chat instantly with your online friends? > Get the FREE Yahoo! > Messenger http://mail.messenger.yahoo.co.uk > > > -- > fedora-list mailing list > fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list ________________________________________________________________________ Want to chat instantly with your online friends?
