I tried vmware-config.pl on the standard FC1 kernel and it failed to build
the modules.  I had to do the export to get the modules to compile.

So if your vmware-config.pl worked with your kernel then you are probably OK.

Win98 :)  I haven't got around to putting XP Pro into the virtual machine
yet.
