Hi, > i didn't have to do that, and running "vmware-config.pl" ran just fine. > now, keep in mind, i haven't yet moved on to installing the guest OS. are > you saying that you needed to set CC to just get vmware-config.pl to run, I tried vmware-config.pl on the standard FC1 kernel and it failed to build the modules. I had to do the export to get the modules to compile. So if your vmware-config.pl worked with your kernel then you are probably OK. > and what guest OS are you running? Win98 :) I haven't got around to putting XP Pro into the virtual machine yet. -- Regards, +-----------------------------+---------------------------------+ | Peter Kiem .^. | E-Mail : <zordah@xxxxxxxxxx> | | Zordah IT /V\ | Mobile : +61 0414 724 766 | | IT Consultancy & /( )\ | WWW : www.zordah.net | | Internet Services ^^-^^ | ICQ : "Zordah" 866661 | +-----------------------------+---------------------------------+ My current spamtrap address is est1103@xxxxxxxxxx
