Just to clarify here, we (PlanetMirror) lost a number of disks in a raid array, and are working on restoring service. As you noted, this means that RH and Fedora are missing, among others (albeit temporarily, but I don't have an ETA at this stage). In the meantime, try: rsync ftp.mirror.ac.uk::fedora.redhat.com/ and rsync ftp.mirror.ac.uk::download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/ -- sorry for the slightly OT post :) -Dan On Wed, 26 Nov 2003, Res wrote: > > Hey all, > Anybody have a reliable rsync for fedora updates? > > Planetmirror seem to have vanished RH and Fedora from their servers > and rsync from ibiblio.org repeatedly hangs, we dont have required > bandwith to be an official mirror (but we like to mirror the stuff for our > local area with our peering) so we dont feel we should bother the parent > official mirror admins for access, the site doesnt have to be fast, just > reliable :) > > Cheers > > > -- > fedora-list mailing list > fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list > -- Regards, Dan Goodes : Systems Programmer : dang@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Help support PlanetMirror - Australia's largest Internet archive by signing up for PlanetMirror Premium : http://planetmirror.com
