2.6 includes alsa, cmipci is an OSS driver... the ALSA ones all begin with 
snd-.  I would download the lib, OSS emulation, tools and utils tarballs from 
http://www.alsa-project.org and cook them up, since ALSA is way better than 
OSS anyway.  You don't need the driver one AFAIK because it is included in 
the kernel sources now.  Maybe someone offers matching ALSA packages for the 
2.6 kernel but I didn't hear about it.

I'm not running 2.6 on this machine yet because I had other problems, this is 
why the advice is a bit vague :-)
