It should not say "data", it should say something like:

[root@ender post.rhl9]# file pogorpms/ww1150lcd-1.0-2.i386.rpm
pogorpms/ww1150lcd-1.0-2.i386.rpm: RPM v3 bin i386 ww1150lcd-1.0-2

The fact that it says "data" indicates to me that you have either A) a 
corrupted download or B) the yum rpm on the server is corrupted.
