[Thinkpad's Trackpoint doesn't work when "firstboot" starts after installing Fedora Core 1]
Same here with my Thinkpad T40p. No problem with my IBM Intellistation. See: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=100497
Thinkpad 570E here. The exact same thing happened - the mouse (Trackpoint) doesn't work in "firstboot", but it works everywhere else in the installation process and also when the system boots normally.
It's not a showstopper, because you can navigate "firstboot" with the keyboard. It's just really annoying.
On my T20, I found that switching to a different console (Ctrl-Alt-F3, for example) and then back made the mouse work again.
