Hi Lisa -

Here's a cut and paste from a previous post of mine.....

''I have one of these, eventually managed to install RH9 on it.  The answer to
the immediate problem is

  linux nomce ide=nodma pci=off

at the install prompt after the CD boots.

I bet Fedora does much better on that machine than RH9 did, but you still need 
the first trick to even get it installed.
