This is the part that I just love about mailing lists. The useless users whose answers have the depth of a puddle on a sidewalk. I can deal with 'nope', but why is it 'nope'. An arbitrary decision on your part? Do you have documentation to support your unsubstanciated view? If so, can you provide the link to the supporting documentation? If not, I don't need your input. HCLG Note: I understand that the premise of this posting may be out of scope in view of many users. But, the point for me is to help with the decision to hold tight with RH9 for the immediate and near future (after April 30th) or to make to move to fedora, RHEL, or another distribution of linux. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bret Hughes" <bhughes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "fedora-list" <fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, November 13, 2003 10:11 AM Subject: Re: What if I want to continue using RH9 > Top posting sucks. > > I do not know why your original premise would not yield an entirely upto > date box. > > Bret > > On Thu, 2003-11-13 at 08:09, HCLG wrote: > > What else would I need? > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Karlan Kayne" <karlankayne@xxxxxxxxxxx> > > To: <fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx> > > Sent: Wednesday, November 12, 2003 10:53 PM > > Subject: Re: What if I want to continue using RH9 > > > > > > > nope > > > > > > > > > >From: "HCLG" <HCLG@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > > >Reply-To: fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > > > >To: <fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx> > > > >Subject: What if I want to continue using RH9 > > > >Date: Wed, 12 Nov 2003 22:43:52 -0500 > > > > > > > > > > > >Does ISO image + the contents of > > > >'http://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/updates/9/en/os/' on April 30, > > 2004 > > > >== the most up2date RH9 installation possible. > > > > > > > > > > > > -- > fedora-list mailing list > fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list >
