One to add: When installing the Nvidia (video) drivers, make sure the kernel-tools are loaded, including the kernel source. Then: 1. Run the installer with --add-this-kernel and let it percolate. 2. It will create a new, 'custom' installer. Run that. 3. Make sure the "nv" is changed to "nvidia" in XF86Config 4. There is no step 4; you're done.
