One would expect that if one has to enable both GRAPHICAL="yes" in /etc/sysconfig/init, AND put "rhgb" on the kernel line in grub/lilo, that if one were to remove one or the other, no graphical boot will be seen. Well, it's _almost_ like that, except for the way that having no "rhgb" on the kernel line works is quite unexpected. - -- Jesse Keating RHCE MCSE (geek.j2solutions.net) Fedora Legacy Team (www.fedora.us/wiki/FedoraLegacy) Mondo DevTeam (www.mondorescue.org) GPG Public Key (geek.j2solutions.net/jkeating.j2solutions.pub) Was I helpful?
