Starting around Red Hat 7.something I couldn't boot the installers, so I upgraded the "naughty way" (updating the RPMs live). Sometime soon I'll probably try the same technique to get it running Fedora... after all, the Fedora RPMs *are* compiled with --march=i386, right? ;) Tristan
