oh, sounds like you're talking about graphics mode:( For some reason it seems to have been removed from text mode.
No, it appears to be there in text mode. When you are selecting groups, look at the bottom of the screen for instructions. You can expand each group to check which packages are installed or not within that group.
Not immediately obvious and not intuitive to those who had installed previous versions, but there.
