If I remember correctly, there was no shell on the second console - which dissappointed me because I wanted to run fdisk from there - but had to start into Slackware to run it.

My system has 2x256MB and it didn't work, so it is not bound to 1GB.


Another problem was there was no shell on 2nd console.

I didn't test with severn though.

mem=256M worked for me.


memtest86 didn't show any errors (I didn't expect any).
