Does anyone have this combination running?

My mailserver is currently RH8.0. I use MailScanner/Spamassassin for Spam detection and F-Prot & ClamAV for Anti-Virus.

i have heard about this combination, it should work.
you need afaik spamassassin from source or the source-rpm
enable your "Virus Scanners" and "Spam Check" in /etc/MailScanner/MailScanner.conf

eg.
$ grep "Spam Check\|Virus Scanners" /etc/MailScanner/MailScanner.conf
# then set "Virus Scanners = none" instead.
# Virus Scanners = sophos f-prot mcafee
Virus Scanners = sophos
Spam Checks = yes

$ rpm -q redhat-release mailscanner spamassassin ;sweep -v | grep Version redhat-release-8.0-8 mailscanner-4.24-5 spamassassin-2.60-2 Engine Version : 2.17 Benutzeroberfläche Version : 2.07.025 ----
