Egads, responding to myself :-)
I am wondering if the kudzu issue are related to the modules quirk as
well.

Checking for new hardware/etc/init.d/kudzu: line 97: 6287 Segmentation
fault /usr/sbin/kudzu $KUDZU_ARGS -t 30

If I remove the usb nic card I don't get any seg faults.

I filed a bug report for redhat-config-network, would it be helpful to
open a kudzo one and reference the other bug id?
