I downloaded WindowMaker-0.80.2.tar.gz
untared it, then
./configure
make
and finally
checkinstall (this creates an rpm from my build and installs it, that way I don't loose my rpm database, if you want to know more from checkinstall check http://asic-linux.com.mx/~izto/checkinstall/)
Any how, everything went ok, then I go to my console, type
echo exec wmaker > .xinitrc
and then
startx, and this is what I get

Any help? I really like gnome 2.4 but I also love WindowMaker
