I've been trying to figure out what ISO actually stands for - knowing that it is an Image that's burnable - but whats the O?
The ".iso" suffix comes from the filesystem type, which is iso9660 (standard CD-ROM data type) and of course in that case the i-s-o represents the "International Standards Organization" who created the iso9660 format.
