I'm having problems with XF86. It will not let me run a resolution higher than 1024x768. I have a 19inch monitor so it is rather ugly. I have tried using different combination of drivers for both monitor or video card and nothing works. This system dual boots between redhat 9 and fedora and under redhat 9 I can run 1600x1200 no problem. I tried editing the XF86Config file by hand to give it the same settings as my redhat install but it still goes back to 1024x768. Anyone else have this problem or know of a resolution for it? thanks Chris Locke Stratitec IT
