sound problems

Hello all,

I have a small problem, and hopefully, someone can help me. I have a SoundBlaster 16 PCI sound card. Fedora detects the sound card, but when I select the card to be used, I can't hear the test sound. When I have the another sound card selected (as Linux detects two sound cards on my system), then I can hear the test sound for my SoundBlaster card. Is there any way i can fix this at all?
