Hi all,

I am setting up a new server eventually with RHEL but I thought I would
try out Fedora Core 1 on the hardware to let you know if it is
compatible or not.

Server details
Motherboard: ASUS P4S800-MX
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.66 GHz with 800 MHz FSB and hyperthreading
Memory: 1GB
Hardware Raid card: 3ware 7506-4LP
Drives: 4 x Seagate Barracuda ATA IV 80GB 7200 RPM

Made sure the 3ware board was updated to the latest firmware and
installed FC1.

Installed without a hitch and is working a treat. Downloaded the latest
CLI tool and it seems happy as well. Looks like the 3ware 7506-4LP
works very well with FC1.

Only problem found so far with the system is the the cpu loads aren't
being reported properly. Both cpus are found but top seems to show
pretty much always 0% even with load on the system.
