If given this is used to calculate the horizontal and vertical pitch (DPI) of the screen. Under your "Monitor" section in /etc/X11/XF86Config Add the entry: DisplaySize XX XX Replace XX and XX with the width and height in millimeters of the picture area of your monitor.
