RE: up2date and dependencies

I got a similar error when trying to do an 'up2date glibc'. I got around it
by installing the various up2date dependencies that were available before
doing an 'up2date glibc' as it couldn't seem to download its own
dependencies itself.

Subject: up2date and dependencies

I installed Fedora for testing and so far it has been great. When I first
setup my box, I didn't need mysql so I didn't install it. Now I'm looking to
test mysql on fedora, so I ran "up2date mysql." Up2date seems to be having
problems with dependencies. I get:
[root@testy motion-3.0.7]# up2date mysql

Anyone else have any problems with up2date resolving dependencies on Fedora?
Any ideas? I can always install mysql from cd later. I'm currently working
on the fedora box remotely via ssh and I don't have the fedora cd's on me. I
could always download the iso's, but by the time they are finished, I'd be
home where I already have the cd anyways. I'm running kernel:
2.4.22-1.2129.nptl.
