is there a resource anywhere on the internet listing all wireless adapters that Fedora comes preconfigured with (including all the versioning and sub-versioning information...)

Linksys doesn't have drivers for this card. I been down that road; it's rocky.
Rather than the detail of the chipset maker,etc., call Linksys Customer
Service and cross ship for a v. 3. Fedora is preconfigured for it. Done.
