But _today_ they are very well maintained. LSI SYM-2 driver is _very_ bad maintained, the 2.4 maintainer is _missing_ since several months. And latest patch, one year old, is still without to apply!!. Adaptec aicxxx and LSI MegaRAID boards are the best SCSI and RAID solutions for LiNUX _today_, IMO.
