Java Plugin for Mozilla

Hi all,

I tried to install the java plugin on mozilla with no success. I've
downloaded amd installed the last Java Runtime (jre-1.4.2_03) and after
I've tried to move the plugins I've found in then jre directory, under
i386/plugin ... I've tried the three plugins (ns40, ns610 and ns610)
with no success.

ns40: does not work and did not show as installed in plugins info page

ns610: crashes mozilla just when I try to start it.

ns610-gcc32: shows as installed in the plugins page of mozilla but when
any applet tries to use it, mozilla crashes.

I'm using Mozilla 1.4.1 (updated with up2date) on FC1.

I cannot remember wich plugin I was using on RH9.

Any help will be appreciated. TIA.
