Hi

I tried installing Fedora Core 1 on a machine with an onboard Adaptec
AIC-7896 SCSI controller. It boots off CD1 and detects the controller. It
then loads the aic7xxxx module but then just sits there and does not
insert the module. Any ideas?

The machine is an NEC ExpressServer 5800/120sb with the following specs: 2
x PII 450MHz CPU
256MB RAM
2 x 9GB SCSI drives
Adaptec AIC-7896 onboard SCSI controller
440GX chipset

Cheers
Jay
