Hey there again guys!

I just installed mozilla 1.5 under root, but when I go back into my
username, the program on the panel is still 1.4, how can I switch it?

The icon probably points to /usr/bin/mozilla (depending on path search order). Mozilla 1.5 got installed somewhere else.

Try some of the following commands to see which loads Mozilla 1.5
/usr/lib/mozilla-1.5.0/mozilla-bin (may be slightly different, look
around)

/usr/local/bin/mozilla
/usr/local/lib/mozilla-1.5.0/mozilla-bin

Cheers,

Daniel

I struggled w/ the same problem. You need to delete the icon and add a new one by right click on a blank space in the panel then "add to panel" then launcher then browse the executable file -/usr/local/ mozilla/mozilla.

I wasted about 2 hours on this.
