    Yeah, the 'GCC' thing works in one movement...but there's another
technique that nets you a custom installer for future installations,
too.

    Try: sh Nvidia-installer-whatever --add-this-kernel

    What this does is create another installer, based on the booted
kernel, that you run just like you would the first time...but this time
it works!  :)  If you have multiple, similar machines, it's a nice thing
to distribute and update all of'em.

    ...and I've tried Peter's RPMs: they're solid.

    (Now if I could learn how to get more FPS in 3D mode, I'd be set!)
