I would suggest you stop causing yourself so much pain and use up2date, yum, or apt-rpm. With all of these tools out there why make use of them.
HTH,
.....Tom
I already do - from my yum.conf : [Mozilla_Yum] name=Mozilla Yum Repo baseurl=http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/yum/SeaMonkey/releases/1.5/redhat/9/
However, I don't think there is a yum repo setup for Fedora at mozilla.org. If the original poster needs to install a package that is not available via yum, apt or up2date, the method I sugested will always work.
Cheers,
Michael
