US Trademark law requires diligent enforcement in order to keep the trademark. Sure it could start off as a trademark, but once it was in common, unfettered use, any attempt to enforce it as a trademark would likely fail. [snip] > "Fedora Linux" has a nice ring. How about Fedora Freshrpms OS. ;-) (Provided Matthias and Warren don't have a problem with this, of course.) [It is Warren Togami who is the Fedora maintainer, correct? (Or maybe *a* maintainer.) I know Matthais Saou is the Freshrpms lead.] Actually, Fedora Linux does sound better. -- -Paul Iadonisi Senior System Administrator Red Hat Certified Engineer / Local Linux Lobbyist Ever see a penguin fly? -- Try Linux.
