You're just thinking of a different scenario, in which tivoization is
important for the tivoizer.  We'll get to that.

Please be patient.  Don't get the illusion that you're disputing or
weakening the argument with these statements.  Disputing premises of a
logical inference is pointless as far as disputing a larger argument
that this particular lemma would be a part of.

if a company doesn't care about tivoizing then they won't do it, it takes time and money to tivoize some product and it will cause headaches for the company.

their reasons for wanting to tivoize a product may be faulty, but they think that the reasons are valid or they wouldn't go to the effort.
