I don't get any error (and kmemleak doesn't touch this file). Is this
with the 2.6.18-rc1 kernel?

It's a gcc 4.1 issue
gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 20060525 (Red Hat 4.1.1-1)

With gcc 3.4 it build.
