ZTE modem modprobe issue

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
I have purchased a ZTE AC8710 device for broadband connection. I am using Fedora 10. The device is detected by the system but the modprobe command gives me error.

[root@localhost ~]# modprobe usbserial vendor=0×19d2 product=0xfff6
FATAL: Error inserting usbserial (/lib/modules/2.6.27.5-117.fc10.i686.PAE/kernel/drivers/usb/serial/usbserial.ko): Invalid argument

Please suggest if somebody has any idea of cofiguring the device (modem).

Thanks in advance
Badri
