Why can it not work with the configuration that is handed to it on a silver
platter via the modprobe.conf entries posted earlier?

No, a garage floor, and another slab in front it & the house that was busted
up pretty bad & sinking like the Titanic. I've built the garage with only a
few hours help from one of the neighbors since about the tail end of June.
The slab in front was 6 yards, the garage floor was 7.

I'm going back to bed myself. Like most diabetic old (73) farts, we are up in
the night at least once.
