Hello there!! :)))

I've done it!!! But it wasn't so easy...

Ok here the order of actions I've made:

1)  Tried to "force" to re-new repos.<---- succeed

2)  Checked if there are no "fglrx" "ati" survivors <--- was none.

3)  Installed "xorg-x11-drv-ati xorg-x11-drivers" <---- succeed

4)  Tried to install "xorg-x11-drv-fglrx"+"kmo-fglrx" <---- was sent by "yum" to china to look for some relatives.... :))) (got the same mistake)

5)  Did drink 0.5L of beer (Tuborg, red label) ^_^  <---- succeed

6)  Has removed all repos from "/etc/yum.repos.d/" <---- succeed

7)  Also has removed all "xorg-x11-drivers"+"xorg-x11-drv-ati" <---- succeed

8)  Re-tried num'- 1)  <--- succeed, now there were only those repos I wanted, and nothing else.(like those from fedorafaq)

9)  Re-tried num'-3)   <---- succeed

10) Re-tried to install "xorg-x11-drv-fglrx"+"kmo-fglrx" one more time. <-------------SUCCEED!!!

Want to share some more issues I've encountered during the installation:

1) After installing the "livna" driver, rom has run transaction check and gave me some error output, like this one:

"file /lib/modules/2.6.23.15-137.fc8/kernel/sound/usb/snd-usb-audio.ko from install of kernel-2.6.23.15-137.fc8.i686 conflicts with file from package kernel-2.6.23.15-137.fc8.i586"

and

"file /lib/modules/2.6.23.15-137.fc8/vdso/vdso-int80.so from install of kernel-2.6.23.15-137.fc8.i686 conflicts with file from package kernel-2.6.23.15-137.fc8.i586"

and

"file /lib/modules/2.6.23.15-137.fc8/kernel/sound/usb/usx2y/sud-usb-usx2y.ko from install of kernel-2.6.23.15-137.fc8.i686 conflicts with file from package kernel-2.6.23.15-137.fc8.i586"

and so on... some more files that I couldn't remember...

What does it mean? Do I need to worry about it?

I didn't encountered with more errors when I logged out and restarted my laptop.

One more question:

2) At fedorafaq, they advised to use "init 3" ---> "fglrx-config-display enable" ----> "reboot"  command for enable 3D support.

But when I tried it ("fglrx-config-display enable)", there is "no such command" message appeared.

Plz tell me my friend, how do I check if my fglrx driver installed properly (if installed at all ^_^)

And how can I enable 3d support and etc.

Tnx again for your attention and help.

Sincerely,

Ivan.
