Maxtor, i think Maxtor is crap, maybe because i have had some really
rotten luck with Maxtor, from bad sectors to total failure while Seagate

No, I am not kidding. It ran that hot. (And it was a small apartment.)
This was a 5-1/4" full height drive, right? I used to use one in an
external case as a foot warmer. (I think I still have it in storage.)
