ImportError: No module named yum

Try renaming /usr/local/bin/python to /usr/local/bin/python2.0 so that all of the system scripts that are built for python 2.4 don't find your local python 2.0 instead. You'll need to tweak whatever it is that you have python 2.0 for to use "python2.0" instead of "python".
