perms on sendmails spool dir?

In doing some housecleaning in /var/spool, I deleted some empty dirs a
few days ago, one of them being clientmqueue. Then I noted I wasn't
getting any system or cron generated email, and connected the dots when
sm_client failed on a reboot.

So I've recreated that dir, and restarted sendmail but still no system
mail from things like amanda is being rx'd.

Whats the proper perms for sendmail related stuffs?

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules. I do use spamassassin too. :-)
