What do you called as a standard package?. How is yum supposed to figure out what is 'standard' here?. If you can figure out a feasible solution you should post to the yum-devel list instead of here since it provides a oppurtunity for the developers to respond to you.imho, Yum should KNOW which rpm is standard and if not, either leave it alone or at least double check even with the -y option.
